By accessing or using Huisscan's pre-bid property check platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Huisscan provides a pre-bid property check platform that combines available property data, optional documents, and AI analysis into reports that help buyers and professionals identify questions, risks, and next steps before an offer.

3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must:

Create an account with accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Upload documents you do not have the right to share
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our algorithms

5. Payment Terms

Fees for our services are as stated on our pricing page. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Huisscan platform, including its software, algorithms, design, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of documents you upload, but grant us a limited license to process them for providing our services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and AI Liability Waiver

Our services and AI-generated property analyses are provided strictly 'as is' and for informational purposes only. Huisscan B.V. is a technology provider, not a certified structural engineer, legal notary, tax advisor, or real estate agent (makelaar).

IMPORTANT: The AI analysis relies on available public and third-party data, which may contain errors, access gaps, or outdated information. AI can make mistakes or miss hidden structural defects. Huisscan cannot be held liable for financial losses or damages resulting from purchases, bids, negotiations, or decisions based on our reports. Always consult qualified professionals before signing real estate contracts.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huisscan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of The Hague, Netherlands.
